Aiyakang Bird Ecology Museum is one of the earliest museums in the world themed around bird culture. It serves as the Bird Ecology Science Popularization Base of the World Ecological Organization and the China Youth Bird Science Popularization and Practice Education Base. Through five dimensions — cultural popularization, technological entertainment, artistic display, ecological education, and commercial experience — the museum employs advanced audio-visual technology and human-computer interaction to vividly present rare bird species from around the world to visitors.
The museum consists of 10 themed exhibition halls: the Bird Culture Main Hall, the Evolution of Birds, the Legend of Sacred Birds in Caves, the Artistic Realm of Flying Birds, the Time Tunnel, the Journey through the Sky (AR Interactive), the Temple of Ten Thousand Birds, the Eternal Love Stories Told by Birds, the Dream-Chasing Art Space, and the Magic Entertainment Interaction. Wandering through the museum, visitors will gain insights into the evolutionary history of birds, basic knowledge about birds, and their current living conditions. Through interactive experiences and appreciation of cultural and creative products, visitors can unconsciously expand their knowledge while enjoying the fun, thereby cultivating an ecological awareness of protecting birds and nature. Together with the “Bird King” Aiyakang, visitors can practice the great concept of “lucid waters and lush mountains,” ensuring our lives remain filled with birdsong and floral fragrance forever.
